'Tis the Season at the Baker Mansion!
Christmas is right around the corner, and we here at the Baker Mansion absolutely love this time of year! To help celebrate the holiday season, we have put together a splendid lineup of events for all guests to enjoy! Our events for the 2024 season include the following:
Christmas Tours of the Baker Mansion - November 15 to December 15
Tours of the Baker Mansion with seasonal decor during our standard tour times on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays from 11:00 am to 3:00 pm. Seasonal desserts and beverages will be provided on Saturdays and Sundays courtesy of the Women's Club of Altoona.
Visits from Santa and Mrs. Claus - December 7, 8, 14, and 15
Santa and Mrs. Claus will be making appearances at the Baker Mansion this season! Santa will arrive to greet visitors on December 7 and 15 from 11:00 am to 3:00 pm, and Mrs. Claus will stop by on December 8 and 14 from 1:30 pm to 3:00 pm. Starting at 2:00 pm on December 8 and 14, Mrs. Claus will also read Christmas stories to guests here at the mansion!
Live Holiday Music at the Baker Mansion - December 6 and 13
Holiday music performances by local artists, including Jack Frost & The Frostbites, within the Baker Mansion! Performances take place on December 6 and 13 from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm and will see carolers, flutists, pianists, and more performing for guests as they tour through the mansion in an open-house manner. Admission will be $5.00 per person for the evening, and seasonal desserts will be available for guests as well!
