Interested in booking a style show for your club or organization? Call Peggy Fields at 814-946-5281. Shows are available at your site in Altoona throughout the year and out of town shows are available from March 15 to November 15 (weather permitting). For shows in Altoona, the cost is $100. All other shows are $100 plus travel expenses ($0.50 per mile, overnight lodging as required). Each show is 45 minutes long and features at least 12 costumes, with accessories shown by up to 5 models.
Peggy offers 3 different shows:
1/ Bosom Buddies to Bustles -- Women's Fashion, 1770-1920
2/ Gay '90's Review -- An 1890s wardrobe
3/ Wedding Belles -- Wedding Fashion & Custom, 1770-1920
Also, if you have a special commemoration or anniversary celebration coming up, Peggy can draw from her extensive collection of costumes to prepare a customized show for any period between 1770 and 1920.
If you book a show, tell Peggy you saw her show advertised on our web-site and she will donate a percentage to the Blair County Historical Society! Her shows are a volunteer effort to support history programs for the "kids" of Blair County, Pennsylvania. |
