Giving Options

The Blair County Historical Society relies on the generosity of our donors to support the work of preserving and interpreting the history of Blair County.   Whatever your ability to give, you can be assured that your gift will benefit this vital mission.

ANNUAL FUND - Donations to the Annual Fund support the regular operations of the Society

ENDOWMENT FUND - Donations designated for the Endowment Fund become part of this permanent fund, the principle of which will never be spent.   The interest and earnings from this fund provide a perpetual source of income to the Society.   A gift to this fund ensures that your donation will continue to benefit the Society in perpetuity.   Donations may be made directly to the Society or given through the Central Pennsylvania Community Foundation.

BOARD OPTION - Donors may wish to give the Board of Trustees the option of designating their gifts to the need they feel is most urgent at the time the gift is made.

BEQUESTS - Please consider making a bequest in your will to benefit the Blair County Historical Society.   You may designate your gift to the Annual Fund, the Endowment Fund, or to be used as the Board of Trustees chooses.

CHARITABLE GIFT ANNUITY - The Central Pennsylvania Community Foundation can help you set up a Charitable Gift Annuity that will provide you with annuity payments for life and will benefit the Blair County Historical Society when you are gone.
